がきましたよ。ちゃんとカメラで見ていて状況は把握している
ので大丈夫だと。
■意味を考えてみよう。答えは以下で

──────────────────────────────
If an animal is on the prowl, it is hunting. If a person
is on the prowl, they are hunting for something such as a
sexual partner or a business deal.
prowlは動詞で「（動物が）こそこそうろつく」

Tom is on the prowl this evening, standing at a street corner

If you take heart from something, you are encouraged and make

この場合のtakeは「取り戻す」といった意味合い。つまり、全体としては
「落胆したりしてheart（元気＋希望）をなくした、またはなくしつつ
あるところへ、良い知らせが入るなり何かいいことがあって希望を持ち直し、
元気を取り戻す」ということになる。以前との比較でいうわけなので、
状況としては「すっかり気を取り直す」というよりも「いくらか元気を出す」
場合が多い。逆はlose heartである。
