続・アメリカの中学教科書で英語を学ぶ 勉強会
は現在アメリカ独立宣言あたりを読んでいます。
関連事件を調べていたらBoston Tea Partyがでてきました。
これ日本では「ボストン茶会事件」と呼ばれています。
ここで、茶会とは？ という疑問を持たれた方もいらっしゃる
でしょう。
このTea Party＝茶会は誤訳でありPartyは政党という意味である
という主張もあるようです。wikipediaの「ボストン茶会事件」
のページで見つけたのですが次のサイトが興味深いです。

一方、Writers' Workshop 勉強会のほうは。。。。
やり方がつかめない状態です。うーむ。
10月になりました。番組も下半期に入り新シリーズになり
ました。といっても高橋修三が副社長に昇進したくらいで
大きな変化はありませんね。
