を読みました。

この本、ビジ英読者の方には一押しでオススメです。

金融や経済ニュースで使われる100の表現を取り上げ、
著者の解説とフレーズにより使い方を学ぶという構成です。

取り上げられる単語がビジ英とかなりかぶっているので
うれしくなりました。

take hold （勢い、流れなどが）持続する、継続する
underpin 支える
weather （困難を）切り抜ける、耐え抜く
paint a rosy picture バラ色の絵を描く（明るい見通しを立てる）
turn around （会社の業績や経済が）好転する

これが最初の５つの表現です。これらの表現はすでに皆さんも
知っているかもしれません。しかし本当に身についているかと
いうといかがでしょうか。

この本で読み直すとニュアンス的な所が理解できます。
非常に優れた本であるといえるでしょう。

著者はロンドン在住の証券マンです。
このまえオフ会があったのですが、行きそびれました。
