コウビルドでは、A trattoria is an Italian restaurant. とあり、
和英辞書によるとトラットリアはイタリアの大衆レストランということです。
リストランテ ristorante というイタリアンもありますが、
ODEによると、an Italian restaurantで同じくイタリ料理店とあり、
しかし、こちらはtrattoriaよりは高級なレストランという
ことなのでしょう。
質問です。
